- Short answer:
Choose JPEG, PNG or WebP images, search for a place or enter coordinates, then download copies with supported GPS metadata written into each file. HEIC writing is not supported.

Choose a place or enter precise coordinates
Search for a place, paste a compatible map link, use your current location or type latitude and longitude. Review the coordinates before applying them to one photo or a batch.
What online photo geotagging writes
This photo geotagging tool writes supported EXIF GPS fields and can add creator, copyright, description and licensing information. The output is read back before download.
Free, and built for more than one photo at a time
This tool is free and runs entirely in your browser | no account, no watermark, no limit tied to a paid plan. Add several JPEG, PNG or WebP images at once, apply one set of coordinates, and download every tagged copy together instead of repeating the process file by file.
Adding GPS is different from removing it
Geotagging deliberately adds location data. To protect a sensitive place, use Remove GPS from Photo instead. If you first want to see what location (if any) a photo already carries, the EXIF and metadata viewer reads it without changing the file.
How to geotag a photo
- Enter coordinates, paste a map link, or use your current location.
- Optionally add author and copyright.
- Drop your JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos.
- Download the geotagged image(s).
